About Drew Saurus Visuals

Born and raised on the North Shore of Boston, I have been taking pictures for over 10 years. My primary focus has been landscapes, nature, crossfit events, urban portraits and concerts in and around the city. Having been behind the lens for 10 years now, as a freelance photographer I find it my duty to accept and take on any challenge in the field. No request is too out of reach.

I have been featured by a number of different blogs and journals. Currently, working in lock-step with Shutter 16 Magazine. Previously was featured by The Elementarist Minimalist Magazine. I have had the pleasure of shooting for Event One Clothing and Lonely Ghost Clothing. Numerous Instagram and EyeEm Accounts have featured my works throughout the years. In 2016, Getty Images chose 7 of my images to take under their wing and sell world-wide. Work Hard Anywhere, an indie-startup, also used one of my images within their online background sets.

In the latter, I am a concert photographer. Two of the biggest passions in my life are photography and music, and I have been lucky enough to combine the two. I am able to capture my subjects with my unique perspective and transform them into art. I let myself get lost behind the camera and in the music at each show I attend.
It’s not every day that someone’s hobby becomes their passion, but that’s what becoming a concert photographer has been for me.

Thus far in my career, I have had the honor and privilege to photograph a couple of my favorite bands, Night Lights Band, Mako, Penguin Prison and Flor. I strive to build my portfolio and business even further with each incredible opportunity that comes my way. I go into every job as if it were my first, because to me, each one is a blank canvas for me to focus in on one exposure at a time.
